This Confined Space High Risk training is one day course designed to meet requirements for working safely in confined space in line with the Confined Space Regulations 2001, Code of Practice 2010 along with other key legislation.

Who is the course intended for?
This course is open to all learners specifically those with responsibility in health & safety within their workplace
Duration:
3 days (22 hours). Please note this course runs over the three consecutive days: 24th, 25th,26th May 2022
Training methodology:
This course is a combination of classroom-based activity syndicate working and presentation/demonstrations, practical application on our training module and question and answer paper. A wide range of video and photographic material is used to enhance the learning experience for participants.
Assessment:
Multiple Choice Questions Exam
Accreditation/Certification:
The successful participants will be awarded with Lantra High Risk Confined Space Certificate

Course Objectives

On the completion of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Enter and exit confined spaces safely
  • Prepare and use full working breathing apparatus in accordance with manufacturers’ specifications
  • Use equipment and tools safely and in accordance with manufacturers’ instructions
  • Follow procedures and work safely
  • Deal with emergencies
  • Use appropriate behaviour for working in high risk confined spaces
  • Use appropriate industry knowledge for working in high risk confined space
  • Apply relevant industry standards for working in high risk confined spaces
